Arts-Based Therapy or ABT, is based on Asian mind traditions and Buddhist philosophy. Creative expression through art, movement, music, and storytelling is the pathway to emotional healing and self-discovery. At The Integral Space, this approach is designed to bypass the limitations of words and allow deeper feelings, memories, and patterns to surface in a safe, supportive environment. Whether through painting, dance, or sound, the arts become a mirror that reflects inner experiences and opens the door to transformation. This therapy integrates psychology, holistic healing, creative therapy, and trauma-informed practices, making it especially effective for emotional regulation, stress relief, impulse control issues, addictions, depression and personal growth. It is suited for individuals of all ages, including neurodiverse children and adults. It is also deeply connected to our cultural commitment to integrating wellness and the arts.
